Pretty Dresses and Discounted Sunglasses

On Sunday the tiny sibling and I headed into town to give our dad a Fathers' Day treat: the Imperial War Museum! I can't believe we'd never been there; what a beautiful building it is, the exhibitions are fantastic and it's free to get in. If you haven't been I really recommend it.

We also planned to picnic so it was a relief when the sun came out. And, of course: legs ahoy!

I decided to pop on an old Lindy Bop dress with some comfy plimsolls and, the star of the show, my new Michael Kors sunglasses, a gift from Discounted Sunglasses.

Discounted Sunglasses have an excellent range including Ray-Ban, Gucci, Tom Ford and this beautiful pair of Alexander McQueen's that I'm coveting. With heavily discounted prices and free delivery you can't go wrong, can you?

Style XL

I can't believe it's been a whole year since I modelled at Style XL. It was a brilliant day and I could not have been more out of my comfort zone, but it was totally worth it for all the wonderful people I met.

And guess what? It's only a month until the next one!

Style XL is a plus size fashion event which, this year, is based at the Paragon Hotel, Birmingham. There are catwalk shows showcasing some amazing brands including Yours Clothing, Simply Be, Bon Prix, Curvy Kate, Lady Voluptuous. It's a great opportunity to see upcoming fashion, buy gorgeous clothes and meet beautiful fat babes!

If you would like to buy tickets to Style XL, just click on the little button above. Oh, and use the code CCGMFDO15 for 10% off!

OOTD: That Summer Feeling

We were lucky enough to be in Bristol this weekend when the sun FINALLY decided to come out so I grabbed some shots by the river before we hopped on a boat (I'm basically a sailor now).

I picked up this lovely textured top from Next the other day. I love the bright colours: perfect for summer and perfect for my Wear Anything But Black project (wish me luck). I popped it over a lightweight black dress (whoops, failed already) from Dotty Ps which I've had forever and some comfy plimsolls. Voila; an outfit fit for a tourist!
